What were your reasons for joining Woodlands? Obviously, to get fitter than I was, but the major inducement was that Woodlands was local and that it opened at 7am; I therefore had no excuses. I couldn’t say I was too tired at the end of a working day to do some exercise.
What lifestyle changes have you made? Monday, Wednesday, and Friday begin with exercises. No excuses. The regular and consistent exercise at my age is so important and I am pleased Woodlands is there to help me.
What results have you achieved? Apart from occasionally walking over Kinder regular exercise has greatly improved my stamina. I also now have muscles and I certainly feel very pleased with my efforts.
How has Woodlands helped you achieve your goals? Woodlands can totally take the credit for my successes. The ethos, the friendly atmosphere and convenience all help me to continue being a member. As a one-time focused member, I greatly appreciate the attention and support I was given. It showed me what I was capable of.
Your advice for others: Ladies, if like me, you perhaps aren’t ready for the magazine photo shoot yet, just go and buy some new togs. Go to Woodlands early in the morning and keep working at it. It does get better and you will feel so pleased with yourself.
