Many years ago Woodlands Fitness Centre stopped advocating the use of fixed resistance machines after scientific evidence grew against it’s use. Under the guidance of The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Woodlands led a new ‘functional’ era in how to train people more effectively using methods advocated by sports science. Years on, as other health clubs around the UK only just start to introduce the functional training concept to their clubs, Woodlands is about to launch the next big thing....
WOODLANDS GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING - GPT
GPT combines all the latest functional training exercises with specialist functional training equipment in short intensive, calorie crucifying sessions- while under the watchful eye of a highly qualified Personal Trainer.
What is GPT?
GPT has a ratio of 1 Personal Trainer to a maximum of 5 participants GPT is a 45 minute session - 15 minutes preparation work followed by 30 minutes total body training exercises to maximise calorific burn GPT is proven to burn up to 500 calories in one session PLUS Increase metabolic rate for up to 48 hours! Meaning you continue to burn calories at a higher rate for an extra 2 days!

We have put together an extensive timetable of GPT sessions. Each Session is held in the gym. To book in simply choose the session that you can do each week and sign up at reception. Your commitment is to make 2 GPT sessions each week for a minimum of 12 weeks.
Introductory rate
Members £20 per month Equivalent of just £2.40 per session
Non members from £40 per month minimum commitment 3 months
GPT Timetable
Each personal training sessions last 45 minutes
Monday 12.30pm, 5.00pm, 7.30pm
Tuesday 12.30pm, 6.00pm, 7.50pm
Wednesday 10.30am, 12.45pm, 5.00pm, 7.45pm
Thursday 6.00pm
Friday 12.30pm, 4.30pm
Saturday 9.00am, 2.00pm
Sunday 9.00am, 11.30am
